Concretum® SUPERFIBER are high modulus polymer fibers for mortar and concrete. They have a higher Young's Modulus as compared to concrete. For this reason, the fibers increase the tensile strength and ductility of concrete and reduce the risk of cracking. Furthermore, the fibers can be used as a replacement of secondary reinforcement. Concretum® SUPERFIBER are available in different types with various lengths, diameters and geometries.
Applications
In general as a replacement of steelfibers (SUPERFIBER H).
In general as a replacement of polypropylene fibers (SUPERFIBER 40/8).
Sprayed concrete for tunnelling (SUPERFIBER H).
To control long-term cracking (SUPERFIBER 40/8).
To avoid early-age cracking (SUPERFIBER 40/8).
To replace secondary reinforcement (SUPERFIBER H).
To reinforce concrete industrial floors (SUPERFIBER H).
To produce concrete with extraordinary deformation capacity (SUPERFIBER 40/8).
